Setup, Samples & Artwork

  • Embroidery Setup Fee: Customer supplied logo, image or we provide 3-5 text options to select a design. $15 one-time per design (waived at 50+ bows)

  • Printed Bow Fees: Customer-supplied single image or full print, production-ready single logo artwork: No setup fee.
  • Artwork creation, pattern layout,
    or logo adjustments by our team: $25 one-time setup fee per design

  • Physical samples: Mockups of bows are available for most embroidered and some printed styles. We make the physical sample for approval based on the order design. If you wish to see the bow prior to ordering, we have that option available: $25 per design (this fee is refundable with the approved bulk order). Please note: this is a PHOTO of the completed sample only.

HOW TO ORDER Custom Hair Bows

1. Choose Your Bow Style:

Select bow type, size, clip type, ribbon color(s) and quantity. And complete the custom order form.

2. Submit Artwork:

Email logo, mascot, or text for custom bows to hello@thehairbowcompany.com
(PNG, JPG, or PDF preferred).

3. Pay invoice for order or sample:

An invoice will be issued once details are confirmed.

  • Retail & fundraisers: payment required before production
  • Schools: NET 15 or NET 30 available with approved PO

4. Sample Approval:

  • Sample photo is emailed for approval
  • Production does not begin without written approval
  • $25 sample fee per design (optional if you want to see the final product prior to placing the order - refundable with final bulk order) This is not mailed out. It is a PHOTO ONLY. Schools may request physical samples if desired with a shipping fee.

5. Production & Delivery:

  • Standard lead time: 4–6 weeks
  • Tracking provided once shipped

Custom Hair Bow FAQs

The Hair Bow Company creates custom printed and embroidered hair bows featuring school logos, mascots, team names, colors, and custom artwork for schools, teams, PTO/PTA groups, fundraisers, and organizations.

Our minimum order is 12 custom bows per design. We offer quantity-based pricing, with lower per-bow pricing for larger orders.

Pricing depends on the bow style, size, customization, and quantity. Custom embroidered bows start at $5.25 each and custom printed bows start at $5.75 each for quantities of 12–49, with lower pricing at higher quantities. You can use our custom bow calculator to provide you with an immediate estimate.

Our standard turnaround time is approximately 4–6 weeks after your order is finalized. If you have a specific event or deadline, include the date with your custom bow request so we can confirm availability.

A clear, high-resolution logo or artwork file works best. Vector artwork is preferred when available, and our team can help determine whether your design will work best as an embroidered or custom-printed bow.

Printed bows are ideal for detailed artwork, repeating patterns, and multiple colors. Ink is put directly on the ribbon in a pattern.

Embroidered bows feature a logo, mascot, name, or text stitched directly onto the ribbon for a classic, dimensional look.

We offer multiple bow sizes and attachment options, including alligator clips and Pony-O elastics. Classic bows are popular for everyday and school wear, while larger bows and secure attachments are typically preferred for cheer and sports. We can help make suggestions if you are unsure.

Physical sample photos are available for $25 per design, and the sample fee is applied toward the approved bulk order. Simple digital mockups may also be available for qualifying school fundraisers or presales.

Yes. Custom school bows are a great option for PTO/PTA fundraisers, spirit sales, booster clubs, school stores, and special events. Our 12-bow minimum also makes it easy to offer multiple designs without ordering a large quantity of each.

Yes. The Hair Bow Company accepts purchase orders from schools and can provide a W-9 upon request. We also accept standard online payment methods for custom bow orders.

Yes. We create custom bows for cheerleading, softball, dance, school spirit teams, and other sports and activities using your team colors, logo, mascot, or team name.
