Several months ago we got these new burlap flowers. They come in several fun colors, but the red, white, and blue were speaking to me. Something about the combination of burlap and our country's colors... it's a great combo.
So I enlisted the help of our customer, Patty. Also known as the mother of the adorable girl in this picture. I sent her some flowers and told her to get to crafting, and this is what she created. Just in time for the 4th of July, a beautiful burlap patriotic wreath!
I've seen these wreaths on Pinterest and they look so complicated. All those pretty loops and swoops of burlap look like a big fat headache to me. When I read the tutorial and saw these pictures, I was floored with how easy it is!!
The trick is to be sure you have the right supplies. A wire wreath and burlap ribbon. That's about it. And our burlap flowers for embellishment, obviously.
What do you think? I think I love it so much that I may attempt one for my own door. And then maybe choose other colors of burlap and create a summer wreath using the pink and turquoise burlap flowers. Get to crafting, friends! And as always, show us your projects. You can post it on our Facebook wall or tag us on Twitter or Instagram (@thehairbowco).
And if you haven't lately, treat yo' self mamas! Check out all of our 4th of July outfits! We even have some adorable 4th of july outfits for women - our mommy & me collection is on fire!
