Here at The Hair Bow Company, we are often only viewed as a source for little girl hair clips and accessories. We do have a wide assortment of cute accessories, but we also carry several items that are perfect for the "grown girls."

We didn't want you to just take our word for it though, there are women in the blogosphere that can do things with hair that we could never even dream up! Lauren from Texas is one of those bloggers, so we put her to the test. We sent her a few of our favorite flowers and told her to show us how it's done. This is her first experiment!

I loved working with this flower. The clip on the back made it super easy to place in my hair and kept it secure all day. The color is perfect and the soft, fluttery petals are feminine and elegant. The feathers and iridescent beads add visual interest while elevating this hair piece to something that a grown-up woman can feel comfortable and beautiful while wearing. I can't wait to style other colors of this flower and will definitely be wearing it again!

I used the tutorial linked above to do the updo myself and then just slipped the flower in at the end. This style is perfect for a night out with your man, maybe give it a shot this Valentine's Day!
